Update again! As we get ready for school to start on Monday, if you completed a prezi or powerpoint for your comparison study, please email the appropriate teacher with a link to that project (or attach the file). These should be recieved by Monday morning, 7:30 a.m. If you are completing a paper copy of a project, you may simply bring it to class with you.

Hi folks! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far.
It appears that the Hippocampus site, where I sent you to do some summer reading, will be changing as of June 24th. As a result, I'm giving you some other options for resources. Head on over to the Summer Assignment page to see the details.
Please don't hesistate to get in touch if you have questions!
Thank you for providing another source. Unfortunately my son started the Hippocampus but did not finish before it was taken down. Will the other source be up for long? I wasn't sure about the book "Enduring Visions". There is a book called "The Enduring Vision" on Amazon. I couldn't be 100% it was the correct book because often when the book title is even slightly different it is a different book. Most copies of this book are quite expensive. There is one copy of "The Enduring Vision: A History of the American People, Concise" with a 2008 date for ~$25, but I didn't know if this was correct or abridged since it says "Concise". There are a couple of other affordable versions, but they are not 2008.

Thank you Ms. Robbins.
DeleteThe Digital History source should be good for the rest of the summer. I don't know of any plans to remove that site.
The textbook we use is The Enduring Vision, the AP Edition, 6th Edition. The ISBN should be 0618801634. There are many used copies here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0618801634/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all
